Sherry is a native Southerner born in Oklahoma. She has been modeling since the age of fourteen. Sherry studied and graduated from the World Modeling Association, D’Saison Creative Color as a makeup artist, National Laser Institute of Dallas as well as Stefan’s Cosmetology College. She worked for many years as a professional model both print and commercial, spokesmodel and television personality.

Sherry was crowned Mrs. Texas in 1985 and among the top 10 at the Mrs. America pageant. She went on to win the Mrs. United Nation pageant in 1998 where she continued her work promoting women. Sherry was crowned MS Senior Universe in Las Vegas, NV, 2019 and has traveled the country sharing her story, ‘From Death and Defeat to Praise and Victory’.

Sherry works as a goodwill ambassador and motivational speaker. Sherry is the author of “Crowning Success,” a handbook for living life to be the kind of woman that inspires other women to want to up their game! She received the Texas Ambassador of Goodwill award. Sherry has judged local, state and national pageants for the Miss USA, Miss America, National American Miss programs as well as emcee. She co-owned and directed the National Mrs. pageant and is well respected around the globe for her commitment to empowering and promoting women.

Sherry has over 40 years of experience in the beauty and fashion industry. As a team player, motivator, and life enthusiast she is adaptable to situations believing honesty and integrity along with faith, hope and love are key ingredients for a successful life! She wishes more women realized that helping another woman succeed is success! Cheering her on, praying for her, or sharing a resource with her, does NOT take away from the blessings coming to them. In fact, the more you give the more you receive. Empowering women does not come from selfishness but rather than selflessness.
