Betty Aden resides in Greenwood, MS and is winner of the Best Production Award at the Global Beauty Awards in 2022. The energetic 80-year-old serves as our Official Choreographer for the MS Senior World Pageant.
A former Ole Miss Rebelette, Betty graduated with a degree in Physical Education/Dance and obtained a master’s degree from Delta State University. Betty taught at Mississippi Delta Community College for 38 years. She started the Delta Dancers, a collegiate dance team of men and women.
These dancers earned full dance scholarships and performed weekly across the state, at Disney World and on cruise ship. Betty continues to host the Betty Aden Dance Camp and completed her 39th year this summer. Betty competed in her first pageant at the age of 73. She won MS Super Senior Universe in Las Vegas at the age of 76. Betty is a 26 year Breast Cancer Survivor.
Her moto: “ I live to Dance and Dance to live.”
